Yes the artificial grass does get hot in Sunny day. Our Cool Grass 35 grass type is build with latest cooling technology that will reduce turf temperature. A proper level of sand infill can also help increase grass heat resistance.
Yes artificial grass can also laid on hard soil surface like concrete, paver, tile and decking. You will need the synthetic turf adhesive glue for installation and no infill material is need. We do not recommend synthetic turf installed directly on sand or soil ground as they are consider as ‘soft’ base and storm water will rinse off the base and create ground dent and turf wrinkle.
In some cases, artificial grass is not recommend to install adjacent to the reflective fence boarder like pool glass & light colour metal as they will generate over 100 degrees heat and cause fibre blade curl and melt.
Your artificial grass lifetime is depending on your general usage and maintenance. In common house case, the synthetic turf can expect over 15 years usage while under well maintain. Greenland Artificial Grass does provide 7 years warranty on all artificial grass products.

A general water hose on spot immediately after your pet urination is the simple and effective way to clean and remove most smell. We also recommend to use the ‘UrineFREE‘ cleaning solution to remove odour if you feel smell on your ground.
As artificial grass is made from polyester fibre, you should avoid to contact with flammable heat like gas stove and cigarette butt. Artificial grass also needs to get away from grease material like paint and cooked oil as oil stain is very difficult to remove from it.
